Poole Alcock has been established for over 125 years and has an unrivalled reputation for property law nationwide. Originally based in Sandbach, the Practice expanded in the 1960’s and 70’s and presently has seven offices operating within Cheshire and North Staffordshire (Alsager, Congleton, Crewe, Nantwich, Northwich, Sandbach & Tarporley).
Since 1999, the present Senior Partner, Mike Bracegirdle, has been developing a Departmental structure to ensure that Poole Alcock meets the needs and demands of 21st Century clients and future clients. Each of the areas of law undertaken now forms a Department and is headed up by a Partner and Team undertaking only that specific area of law and creating, where possible, specialist centres. By way of example, our Sandbach office concentrates upon Commercial Conveyancing, our Alsager office upon New Build, our Nantwich office upon Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Litigation. In this way we will also have a Team available to assist and to provide uninterrupted cover/service even when the individual Partners and Fee Earners are unavailable. We have recognised that certain areas of law cannot be centralised so with regard to our Matrimonial Department, we have a Matrimonial Lawyer in each of our respective offices and in order to service the Residential Conveyancing requirements we have Teams in each of our individual offices.
The aim is to further develop the Team structure within each of our respective Departments to provide continuity of service. We appreciate the frustrations which can occur if clients are not referred to the appropriate specialist Solicitor/Team. Our Business Development Manager ensures that our receptionists are fully trained to recognise and direct clients to the appropriate office/Head of Department.
We use the latest technology within all of our respective offices including the internal transfer of telephone calls together with the very latest case management technology.
Poole Alcock now have over 40 qualified Solicitors who are assisted by an equal number of Licensed Conveyancers, Legal Executives and Paralegals, all of whom have the appropriate legal expertise in the area of law in which they operate.
We recognise that everyone’s financial position varies and dependent upon the area of law involved we are able to offer Legal Services Funding, Conditional Fees, Fixed Fees (Quotations) and Flexible Payment Options.
Our Administration Department comprises of our Practice Manager, Finance Manager, Financial Administrator and Business Development Manager. We have an efficient communications system in our Administration Department to deal with any queries and concerns with regard to progress of individual cases etc.
