Litigation Legal Fees

Litigation can be extremely expensive and the outcome difficult to predict. Consequently, you would like to know how much you are going to have to pay in legal fees at the outset.

As with nearly all solicitors firms, you may decide to instruct Poole Alcock LLP upon a private basis. This means that you pay a set hourly rate for your solicitor. The amount of the hourly rate would depend upon the seniority and experience of the solicitor.

It may be that you are eligible for CLS Funding (Legal Aid). At Poole Alcock LLP we do have a franchise for CLS Funding and this type of work is undertaken (subject to the claim meeting the criteria for both merits and means).

Alternatively, at Poole Alcock LLP, we do undertake "No Fee No Win" work (referred as "Conditional Fee").

At the first consultation with the Solicitor whom is to have conduct of your claim, advice will be given as to funding and the options available to you.
