From start to finish, the average time to completion is 4 to 6 weeks but this will of course depend upon the particular circumstances of the chain that you are in. By using IT, email and the internet at every opportunity, our aim is to take the pressure off you by ensure no one is ever waiting for us.
When purchasing a property it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that they have carried out all the necessary investigations of the title together with the searches. Remember, once contracts have been exchanged then there is no going back. You will be provided with a comprehensive written report, free from legal jargon, as to the suitability of the legal title to the property.
Once you have obtained your mortgage offer from your chosen lender we will prepare a report upon this to you and request your deposit. Exchange of contracts will then follow and at this stage the completion date will be fixed.
On the day of completion we will ensure that the money is transferred to the seller’s solicitor as early as possible so that the keys are made available to you and you can begin your move into your new home.
