Inheritance Tax Plannng Advice

Given the increase in value of many homes, Inheritance Tax is increasingly becoming a problem for people. It is possible to take action to avoid paying much, or in some cases all the potential Inheritance Tax bill.

With effect from April 2007, if you have an estate with its overall value (taking all assets into account) of more than £300,000 then your estate is potentially liable at 40% Inheritance Tax on every pound over that sum.
