Most of our Clients have never made a claim before and are often put off by the claims process. We understand this. The claims process can be a daunting prospect at any stage of a person’s life, however when you have just received a diagnosis of asbestos related condition it can be even more so.
We will listen to you. It is a simple skill but it is the most important.
We will meet you face to face, either in the office or at your home where you are more comfortable. You can ask us any questions about the claims process. We will answer honestly and in plain English without legal jargon.
We work on a ‘no win no fee’ basis and this will be explained fully to you in our first meeting. It will be completely up to you whether or not you want to proceed. No sales pitch.

We appreciate that you may not want to deal with the day to day running of your claim in light of your diagnosis. You have instructed Poole Alcock to run the claim and that is what we will do. However, we will need to contact you for information at times or with regular updates on your claim. If you prefer, we can contact a family member on your behalf so that you do not have to worry about responding to us yourself.
You will be appointed one Solicitor throughout the entirety of your claim. Your claim will not be passed to other teams at different stages of the claim. You will therefore build up a good relationship with your Solicitor and know exactly who to contact about your claim.
