Back to News and EventsThree of our Solicitors were invited to attend a coffee morning on Friday 7th September organised by Head Injured People in Cheshire (HIP), a charity which aims to help and support head injury survivors, their family, friends and carers. HIP’s aim is to reduce loneliness and isolation and improve quality of life.
Our Solicitors were on hand to answer any legal queries from HIP’s members, however the main aim was to help out the charity in any way we could.
We were soon put to task, signing up members to join the Tatton Park trip that HIP is organising for Tuesday 25th September.
We very quickly learnt that HIP is an incredibly important charity in the Cheshire area in helping to bridge the gap for individuals who have found themselves discharged from hospital with varying head injuries but who are left feeling isolated within the community.
For us at Poole Alcock, helping out within our local community is so important and as such we found the coffee morning extremely rewarding and enjoyable. It was wonderful to get to know a little more about this fantastic charity and their members.
We will certainly be back to help out again soon.
Thank you to Edie and everyone at HIP http://www.hipincheshire.org.uk/ and thank you to Anna Burns, Verity McKay and Helen Stoller in taking the time to visit and help out.
