Nicola is well known and highly respected throughout Cheshire as a divorce and child law specialist. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and has practiced in family law throughout her career. Verity helps clients with drafting Wills, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection and the Administration of Estates (also known as Probate). She consistently gets fantastic feedback from clients for her level of knowledge and high standard of service, couple with a sympathetic approach.
She is also a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) working towards obtaining her STEP Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and Estates).
Verity is a Dementia Friend and has an active role in the firm’s Community and Social Responsibility team. She has a keen interest in volunteering and in the local community, having spent most of her life living and working in Cheshire.
When not at work, Verity is also a Director of a local academy trust. In her free time, Verity enjoys painting, gardening and would love to travel the world.

Tim Graduated from Staffordshire University in 1999 with honours and joined Poole Alcock in 2002, where he completed his training contract and qualified in 2004. Tim has specialised in Criminal Defence since qualification providing expert advice and representation for Crime and Motoring cases. Tim is a qualified duty Solicitor and hold the Law Society Criminal Litigation Accreditation.
In a previous life Tim was a driving instructor and as such has a unique passion for all things motoring. Tim is well respected throughout his work life. Tim is a technical lawyer and a formidable advocate, with a very high success rate at Court.
Tim specialises in exceptional hardship applications and special reasons arguments. Tim attends Court virtually every day for clients on the full range of criminal matters.

Geoffrey is the longest serving solicitor at Poole Alcock, having qualified in 1976, and having been part of the senior management team at Poole Alcock after becoming a partner in 1981. Since 2011, Geoffrey has continued to support the firm in his role as consultant, and although he has practised in many areas of law over the years has always specialised in property law, with a particular interest in new-build houses and flats.
He is renowned for his unfailing positivity and enthusiasm and now applies this in his role of trainer and mentor to our current conveyancers.Contact Me
Monisha joined the Corporate & Commercial team in 2019 and has since gained extensive knowledge and skills in assisting businesses with their legal requirements.
Her inquisitive and personable nature means she understands the specific needs of businesses when acting for them, whether that be drafting terms and conditions, or reviewing documentation on their behalf. Monisha has recently undertaken an array of asset and share sales and purchases, corporate restructures, and applied for trademark applications to protect business’ brands. She has also thoroughly enjoyed assisting her colleagues in completing various multimillion pound acquisitions over the years.

Luke qualified as a solicitor in 2012, before joining Poole Alcock in August 2016. Luke became a partner with the firm in 2019.
Knowledgeable in both corporate and commercial law, his specific areas of expertise include share and asset purchases and sales, corporate restructures, lending and finance agreements, school academy conversions and commercial contracts.
Luke draws on a wealth of experience. He has recently acted in the £7 million sale of a company to a plc, the multi million pound sale of a nursery and the conversion of a number of local schools to academy status. His commercial clients include some of the best known businesses in the area.
Luke is an avid sports fan. Formerly a keen footballer and cricketer he now restricts himself to a watching brief: though he has recently completed his first skiing and surfing lessons, and conquered Snowdon.Contact Me
