Chris joined the firm in 2006, having previously studied Law with Criminology at Keele University and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. Chris carried out a training contract with the firm, qualifying into the Criminal Defence department in 2009.
Chris spent the first 6 years of his career as a qualified Solicitor defending clients in the Police Stations and Courts of Cheshire and Greater Manchester. During this time he became an experienced and confident trial advocate with a great reputation amongst his clients and peers. Chris is a qualified duty solicitor and accredited police station representative.

Serena graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2005, with honours, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2012. She joined the firm in 2006 and qualified as an accredited police station representative in 2007.
She manages Crown Court cases on a daily basis and has experience in dealing with clients accused of murder, manslaughter, serious assaults, rape and sexual assaults, and complex fraud cases. In addition to this, she regularly deals with post conviction Proceeds of Crime Confiscation applications – under POCA 2002.
Serena is an experienced police station representative and has dealt with a wide range of cases for clients either under arrest or interviewed on a voluntary basis, including allegations of benefit fraud.
Serena also has specialist experience in dealing with clients who wish to make applications opposing the disclosure of information from third parties with regards to Disclosure and Barring Service checks, and has a high success rate for these applications.

Amie is highly experienced in all aspects of family law, with a particular emphasis on divorce and financial matters. Amie is consistently instructed in relation to high-value divorce cases and complex matters involving business interests and overseas assets. Amie has a keen eye for detail and a methodical and forensic approach to resolve matters efficiently and in her client’s best interests.
Amie provides advice to clients in respect of how best to protect their assets when in a relationship, with experience in drafting cohabitation agreements and both pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Amie represents clients in all types of Children Act matters, including complex cases where there are serious Safeguarding concerns, ‘Finding of Fact’ hearings and matters involving Guardians. She is also experienced in dealing with all aspects of cohabitation and separation disputes, including disputes over property under TOLATA.
Amie is also a member of Resolution – a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems.Contact Me
Cherry is a partner and the Head of the Residential Conveyancing department at Poole Alcock.
Cherry originally joined Poole Alcock in 2005 and qualified in 2007, before moving to another prominent Cheshire firm in 2008. She returned to Poole Alcock in 2014, so that she could focus on the residential market in and around her home town, becoming partner in January 2016. She is results focussed, with a pragmatic and proactive approach to ensure that transactions are kept on track and completed within agreed timescales.

In 2017 Emily completed her Law (LLB) degree at Keele University.
She then went onto complete her LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in Birmingham in 2018.
Emily joined Poole Alcock as a Trainee Solicitor in July 2019 and works within the Private Client Department assisting with the preparation of Wills, applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Administration of Estates.Contact Me
