Here at Poole Alcock we recognise the importance of vacation placements and how they are a great way to gain experience for those wanting to start a legal career.

Please note that applications will only be accepted if submitted on the vacation application form and emailed to the above address.

We will be in touch to confirm whether you have been successful or not.

Other information

• On your first day you will be given a brief induction and be required to complete any relevant paperwork

• During your placement you will be invited to share lunch with others supporting your placement to share your experiences

• During your placement we will aim to place you with as many departments as possible to ensure that you are exposed to a range of work

• At the end of your placement you will be asked to provide us with honest and constructive feedback to help us to continually improve

FAQs

Can I be considered for more than one week?

We do not usually take applications for more than one week.  This way it enables us to keep spaces open for those who have not already had the opportunity to have a placement with us.

Dress Code

We trust our people to dress appropriately based on what they have on on that day.  Our dress code is generally business dress.

What are the hours?

Hours are 9.00am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch

How old to I have to be?

We take applications from anyone aged 17 and over.
