We are a leading team of Divorce and Family Solicitors with our specialist divorce solicitors providing expert advice about divorce and separation.
Our property lawyers will explain every step of the conveyancing process, and make it as professional, swift and seamless as possible.
At Poole Alcock, we have over 25 years experience in helping people with their claims for asbestos related illnesses. We know the worries and concerns that our Clients have before they start the claims process. We share in any issues that they face during the course of their asbestos claim. We tackle and overcome these issues together.
Most of our Clients have never made a claim before and are often put off by the claims process. We understand this. The claims process can be a daunting prospect at any stage of a person’s life, however when you have just received a diagnosis of asbestos related condition it can be even more so.
We will listen to you. It is a simple skill but it is the most important.
We will meet you face to face, either in the office or at your home where you are more comfortable. You can ask us any questions about the claims process. We will answer honestly and in plain English without legal jargon.
We work on a ‘no win no fee’ basis and this will be explained fully to you in our first meeting. It will be completely up to you whether or not you want to proceed. No sales pitch.
Our Solicitors are accredited by the Law Society and the Association of Personal Injury Solicitors. We have over 25 years experience of dealing with asbestos related claims. We can help you with your asbestos claim.
We work closely with the Cheshire Asbestos Victims Support Group and Macmillan as well as Consultant Chest Physicians who have endorsed us as experts in dealing with asbestos claims.
We appreciate that you may not want to deal with the day to day running of your claim in light of your diagnosis. You have instructed Poole Alcock to run the claim and that is what we will do. However, we will need to contact you for information at times or with regular updates on your claim. If you prefer, we can contact a family member on your behalf so that you do not have to worry about responding to us yourself.
You will be appointed one Solicitor throughout the entirety of your claim. Your claim will not be passed to other teams at different stages of the claim. You will therefore build up a good relationship with your Solicitor and know exactly who to contact about your claim.
We can provide you with information that we have gathered over the years about claiming benefits for an asbestos related illness. We can assist you with your recollection of exposure to asbestos. We can also provide you with details of other organisations that can help, for example Mesothelioma UK is a charity that offers wonderful advice about upcoming Trial treatments for mesothelioma.
Our aim is to make the claims process as stress free as possible.
