Charity Walk for Head Injured People in Cheshire

On 22^nd May 2019, Poole Alcock were invited to assist in the marshalling of a walk held by Charity, Head Injured People in Cheshire (HIP), at Walton Hall and Gardens, Warrington.

Almost 40 participants, from the Crewe and Ellesmere Port area, took part in the walk around the gorgeous gardens. We were lucky enough that the sun also made an appearance and Poole Alcock volunteers were on hand to ensure that everyone remained hydrated throughout the walk. We took the opportunity to speak to the other participants about their engagement with HIP.

Following the walk, everyone was invited to explore the sprawling grounds and then regroup for a lovely, well earned, lunch inside the grand Walton Hall.

The dedicated team at HIP clearly do an excellent job and the social interaction and support offered between staff, volunteers, family members and service users was lovely to see and be a part of.
