A Ministerial Statement from the Department of Work and Pensions has announced the government’s intention to increase rates of statutory maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental pay, maternity allowance and sick pay from 9 April 2018. The following rates will apply:
Employers would be well advised to use the advance notice of the increases to plan their budgets accordingly and to make sure their family policies are compliant and up-to-date.
