What are the services available to charities?

There are a number of charitable activities that may require a solicitor’s assistance. This may include obtaining advise regarding the best structure for a charity or assistance with setting up a charity.

We can assist in advising you the best structure for your proposed charity and help you set up the same, including incorporation with Companies House and registration with the Charity Commission (as necessary). We can also help by drafting the necessary constitutional documents including the articles of association and/or charity rules and objectives. 

Once established, we can also assist in drafting or reviewing the charities contracts with suppliers etc to ensure that any contracts are compliant with the charity’s objectives.
